We are pleased to announce the availability of our new HP Master Cylinders. The first production run is complete and we are ready to ship kits now! These units are a direct replacement for the Scott master cylinders used as original equipment on many Cubs. Please check out these features: 1. Manufactured from Aircraft Quality billet aluminum on CNC manufacturing equipment for accurate and consistent reproduction. Using billet aluminum furnishes as increase in tensile and yield strengths of up to 200% over the original cast materials. 2. All surfaces are specially treated to provide an attractive finish while providing tough wearing surfaces for extended overall life. A comparison of the durability between treated and untreated surfaces yields a life expectancy 10 times greater than untreated. 3. The master cylinder body has double pedal attachment points to provide the ability to set the master cylinder for either right or left operation. The reservoir cover is plated for corrosion protection and is easily removable for system inspection. 4. The pedal assembly features heavy duty pivot bushings. 5. Capacity! the reservoir capacity is 1 1/2 times the piston travel displacement providing extended periods for maintenance free operation. 6. Tie Rods. The kit includes adjustable tie rod assemblies for ease of installation and accurate adjustment of pedal free travel. The tie rods are manufactured from stainless steel and connect the master cylinder pedal with the front brake pedals via the clevis/washer/nipple/fastener combination. 7. Detailed installation instructions cover the installation, setup, and maintenance of the system. Complimentary fabric reinforcements and covers are included to facilitate installation.
