Standard Super Cub Ailerons are 102" in length with standard cord. All the materials used in the manufacture of our aileron assemblies are of higher quality than those used in the original Piper assemblies. The aileron hinges are plated for corrosion protection. Stainless steel PK screws secure the trailing edges. These assemblies can be epoxy primed at the customers request. Squared-off Super Cub Ailerons are constructed with the same methods as the standard ailerons, but the steel tip bow is removed and the trailing edge is extended to the full length of 102". This modification is popular with Cub enthusiasts flying squared wings. |
