Standard Super Cub Flaps are 62 1/2" in length with standard cord. All the materials used in the manufacture of our flap assemblies are of higher quality than those used in the original Piper assemblies. The flap hinges are plated for corrosion protection. Stainless steel PK screws secure the trailing edges. These assemblies can be epoxy primed at the customers request. The standard flap is utilized by several STC providers for installation on Piper model PA-12. Extended Super Cub Flaps are constructed with the same methods as the standard flaps, but at a length of 90 1/4" provide a dramatic 44% increase in flap area. |
